The Mandela Mining Precinct (MMP) hosted a successful dragon’s den events on 5, 19 and 26 July 2023 as part of its Real Time Information Management Systems (RTIMS) programme. The events were held virtually and featured presentations from various MMP stakeholders.
“The purpose of the RTIMS virtual pitching event is for stakeholders to present, showcase and do live virtual demonstrations of digital technologies applied in real mining environments. The platform is an opportunity for innovators to showcase their solutions, brand exposure and potential collaboration,” says MMP RTIMS Programme Manager, Jean-Jacque Verhaeghe.
Stakeholders at the events expressed satisfaction and gratitude for the presentations and the opportunity to network with other industry leaders. “The MMP is committed to supporting the development and adoption of fourth industrial revolution technology in the mining industry and this event was a major step forward in reaching that goal,” says MMP Director, Johan Le Roux.
