The Mandela Mining Precinct is pleased to announce an Expression of Interest (EOI) to identify additional Collaborative RDI Partners for the implementation of the South African Mining Extraction Research, Development & Innovation (SAMERDI) Programme for 2026. This call is extended to the research organisations and institutions that traditionally qualify for participation, and, as part of a strategic pilot, is now also extended to OEMs and private companies. Please note that while private entities and OEMs are eligible to be considered as collaborators, any research activities requiring formal ethics clearance must be conducted through recognized research-based organizations.
